Vehicles must be parked in parking lot, not at the pavilion. Only service vehicles may use the road to the pavilion to unload; after unloading, vehicles must park in parking lot.

- Smoking : Smoking is allowed in designated areas and butts must be placed in smoking receptacles ONLY.
- Pavilion Rental : No decorations may be attached to any structure, light fixture, tree or other plant. Guests must remain on trails, roads, and mowed areas. Please do not walk in landscaped beds. Any damage to landscaped beds will be deducted from Security Deposit. The Storage Area contents are not for use during any rental event at Taltree.
- Dog Policy: Dogs are allowed throughout the arboretum EXCEPT the Railway Garden and Depot. Taltree is one of the few public gardens in the country that allows dogs on the grounds. We love dogs and hope to be able to continue this practice. Please keep dogs on leash at all times and pick up after them, depositing waste in one of three designated dog waste receptacles.
