Taltree Arboretum and Gardens is dedicated to providing educational opportunities in arboriculture, horticulture, restoration/conservation of natural resources, ecology and natural history. The following guided programs are offered throughout the year:

Taltree Trek

The Taltree Trek is an educational walk through the arboretum that will focus on the various ecosystems and exhibits of Taltree as well as the history behind the property.

Night Hike

Explore the arboretum as the sun sets and night begins. Nature at night will be the focuses of this informal walk though the arboretum's trails. All walks begin 1/2 hour before sunset.

Group Programs

Private group programs can be scheduled most anytime of the year. A variety of topics can be selected based upon the desire of your group.

School Programs

A wide variety of programs are available for school groups. Indiana State Standards can be covered as needed. Each program will be tailored to the curriculum of the teacher's choice.

Taltree Trek, Night Hike, and Group Programs are $4/person for 1 hour. Taltree members pay $1 for 1 hour. There is a minimum of fee of $30 per program.
