The Dark Side of Plants – Poisonous
Poisonous plants, such as Poison Ivy, Poison Sumac and Castor Bean plant, have adapted over millions of years to develop some crafty ways to fend off predators including deadly neurotoxins, thorns capable of puncturing tires, powerful digestive enzymes and more.
This class will introduce you to the dark side of plants and the harm they can inflict. Learn how to identify the more common dark plants.
Indiana Accredited Horticulturist can obtain 1.0 CEUs for this class.
Cost: $15 Members/$17 Non-Members
This is an intermediate course. Beginners are welcome.
