Since 2003 our summer concert series, "Music in Nature," continues to be Taltree's most wildly popular program that is open to the public and members alike. From folk to rock, jazz to classical, performers like Eric Lambert, Marrakesh Express, Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra and Kennedy's Kitchen have entertained thousands of audience members annually.

In 2010 several of Taltree's regular acts will return, along with new performers, such as Duke Tumatoe & the Power Trio, The Neverly Brothers and, all the way from England, John Garrison! The summer concert series opens with the annual Cathy Hodges Memorial Concert June 13 and continues until late September on select Friday nights and Sunday afternoons.

Admissions policy during concerts/special events    

During special events such as concerts and our annual gala, Taltree's gates will be closed to all but event attendees one hour before event start time and one half hour before event end time.

• Friday night concerts: admissions are limited from 5:30 to 8 p.m. (gates close at 8 p.m. on concert Fridays)

• Sunday afternoon concerts: admission is limited from 2 to 4:30 p.m.

2010 Concert Information

Music in Nature 2010 is provided with support from South Shore Arts, the Indiana Arts Commission, a state agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. This year Taltree introduces a new six-performance, free Subscription Series available to our membership as a benefit. All concerts are open to the public for $15 to non-members and $10 to members (with membership card).
